Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Solvit collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can control it. It covers the Solvit app for iOS and Android and the solvit.fun website.
1. Who controls your data
The data controller is BRAINBOX TECNOLOGIA LTDA, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 53.895.284/0001-98, at Alameda Rio Negro 503, Sala 2020, Alphaville Centro Industrial e Empresarial, Barueri, SP, 06454-000, Brazil.
For anything privacy related, including the rights described in section 9, write to gus@solvit.fun. That is also the contact for our data protection officer under article 41 of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
2. Minimum age
Solvit requires a minimum age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 who created an account, write to gus@solvit.fun and we will delete the account and its data.
Users between 13 and 18 should use Solvit with the knowledge and agreement of a parent or legal guardian.
3. What we collect

3.2 Data generated by your use
- Answers to questions, right and wrong, and your solving history.
- Bookmarked questions.
- Streak, XP, PDL, MMR, rank, titles earned and leaderboard position.
- Who you follow and who follows you.
- Account creation date and last login.
- Notification preferences and your device's push notification token.
3.3 Technical data
- The account identifier issued by Firebase Authentication and the sign-in provider you used.
- Application access logs: IP address, request timestamps, app version, device model and operating system.
- Crash and error reports, which may include your account identifier and app state at the moment of failure.
What we do not collect. We do not collect precise location, do not access your contacts, do not use the microphone and do not serve advertising. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

5. Use of artificial intelligence
Essay grading, question explanations and study path suggestions are produced by automated artificial intelligence systems. To do this we send the content of your essay or the question under review to the providers listed in section 6. Handwritten essays first pass through an optical character recognition service that converts the photo into text.
Our contracts with these providers prohibit using your content to train general purpose models.
Grades and comments produced by AI are estimates for study purposes. They are not official scores and can be wrong. Under article 20 of the LGPD you may request human review of any automated grade by writing to gus@solvit.fun and identifying the essay.
6. Who we share with
We share data only with the processors below, only as far as running the service requires. All are contractually bound to process data solely on our instructions.

We may also disclose data when required by a court order or a lawful request from a competent authority, or to investigate violations of our terms, limited to what is necessary.
7. International transfers
The processors listed above handle data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD Resolution CD/ANPD 19/2024) or on equivalent contractual safeguards providing the level of protection the LGPD requires.
8. What is public in the app
Your username, display name, profile picture, rank, XP, streak, titles, leaderboard position and follower network are visible to other Solvit users. Your comments on questions are public too.
Your essays, essay grades, individual answers and email address are not visible to other users.
9. Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD you may at any time request:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data;
- portability of your data to another provider;
- deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
- information about who we share your data with;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing carried out beforehand;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these, write to gus@solvit.fun from the email registered on your account. We respond within 15 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the ANPD at gov.br/anpd.

10. How long we keep it
- Account and progress data: for as long as your account exists. After a deletion request we keep it for up to 30 days so you can change your mind and so we can close any open investigation, then erase it permanently. To cancel, see how to change your mind.
- Essays and essay photos: for as long as your account exists, or until you delete them from your history.
- Application access logs: 6 months, as required by article 15 of the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Suspension and ban records: kept after account deletion, to the minimum extent needed to stop banned users from re-registering, on the basis of legitimate interest.
11. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Passwords never reach our servers: authentication is delegated to Firebase Authentication. Administrative database access is restricted and logged. No system is immune to incidents; if a security incident poses a meaningful risk to your rights we will notify you and the ANPD under article 48 of the LGPD.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 15 days in advance. The date at the top shows the last revision.
