Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Solvit app and the solvit.fun website, provided by BRAINBOX TECNOLOGIA LTDA, CNPJ 53.895.284/0001-98, at Alameda Rio Negro 503, Sala 2020, Alphaville Centro Industrial e Empresarial, Barueri, SP, 06454-000, Brazil. By creating an account or using Solvit you agree to them.

1. What Solvit is

Solvit is a study app for college entrance and admission exams. You solve questions from official past papers, get explanations and essay grades generated by artificial intelligence, track your progress and compete on a leaderboard. The service is free. If we add paid features in the future, the terms will be shown before any charge.

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Solvit. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and agrees to your use of the app and to these terms.

3. Your account

1. Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
2. Keep one account only. Multiple accounts used to manipulate the leaderboard will be removed.
3. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the security of the credentials used to access it.
4. Your username, display name and profile picture are public inside the app. Do not use content that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or infringes anyone's rights.

4. Acceptable use

When using Solvit, you agree not to:

1. manipulate streak, XP, rank, leaderboard or any progress metric through automation, exploiting bugs, multiple accounts or collusion with other users;
2. access the API by unauthorised means, scrape content in bulk, or copy the question bank, explanations or grades for use outside the app;
3. reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to circumvent the service's security controls;
4. post content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, that harasses other users, or that exposes another person's personal data;
5. submit as your own an essay written by someone else without permission;
6. use the service for spam, advertising or recruitment;
7. create a new account to evade a suspension or ban.

5. Content you submit

You keep ownership of your essays, comments and suggestions. By submitting them you grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce and display that content only as far as running the service requires, which includes sending it to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies during the retention period.

You confirm you hold the rights needed for the content you submit and that it infringes no one else's rights.

6. Moderation

Comments, suggestions, usernames and profile pictures are user generated content. You can report content or users from inside the app, or by writing to gus@solvit.fun. We review reports and remove abusive content, usually within 24 hours.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. Serious violations such as harassment, sexual content involving minors, or threats lead to an immediate ban and, where applicable, a report to the authorities. If your account is banned you can appeal by writing to the same address.

7. AI generated grades and explanations

Essay scores, grading comments, question explanations and study paths are produced by automated systems. They are estimates for study purposes. They are not official scores, they bear no relation to the score you will receive on any real exam, and they can contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

Under article 20 of Brazilian Law 13.709/2018 you may request human review of an automated grade by writing to gus@solvit.fun.

We do not guarantee admission, a minimum score, or any exam outcome. Performance on Solvit does not predict performance on real exams.

8. Intellectual property and official exams

The code, design, the Solvit brand, the explanations and the study paths belong to BRAINBOX TECNOLOGIA LTDA. These terms transfer no rights over them.

Questions reproduced in the app come from official exam papers published by their respective organisers, used for educational and study purposes. Solvit is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise associated with INEP, the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the College Board, FUVEST or any other exam body. ENEM, SAT and other exam names are trademarks of their respective owners and appear only to identify which exam each question came from.

If you hold rights and believe content in the app infringes them, write to gus@solvit.fun identifying the content and the right infringed.

9. Service availability

Solvit is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or permanent preservation of content. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or for decisions you make based on scores, explanations or estimates generated by the app.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time from the app or by following the account deletion instructions. We may terminate or suspend your account if you break these terms or if the law requires it. After termination, the sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 15 days in advance. If you disagree you can close your account before they take effect. Continuing to use Solvit after that date means you accept them.

13. App stores

If you downloaded Solvit from the App Store, these terms are between you and BRAINBOX TECNOLOGIA LTDA, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. We are responsible for any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and intellectual property infringement claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not listed on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

If you downloaded Solvit from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service additionally apply to your acquisition of the app.

14. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. As a consumer you may bring any claim in the courts of your own domicile, under article 101(I) of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Otherwise, the courts of Barueri, São Paulo, have jurisdiction.
